That last post reminds me…

My dad is a retired high school chorus teacher, and he used to get a lot of mentally challenged kids put in his biggest chorus. Many pined to play auxillary percussion on the songs that called for it, so he gave them old shakers and maracas that would’ve otherwise been obsolete—they were empty. They didn’t ever complain. My dad’s been to a lot of places and done a lot of good in this world, but for me, that story tops them all.
