This song sounds edgier than anything on Volume One. Looks like Volume Two is in my very near future. I don’t think Zooey will ever look natural singing on stage, but she sounds great. Oh, and those two blonde-haired girls singing “oos” are very creepy.
The performance gets a “Lovely” from Dave, but listen to what he says to one of the blonde-haired girls: “For heaven’s sake, what is that an egg?” She shakes the egg. “Oh it makes a lot of noise, doesn’t it? Very nice. Thank you!”
And they’re cheap, too! Only $2.99 (Canadian) for two of ‘em!
